You can customize the information that is visible to other users on your profile by changing the settings as you want.
This is how you do it:
- Go to your profile page first and then click on the drop-down menu.
- Select the ‘Settings’ option.
- Select the option ‘Privacy’ on the menu that you see on the left.
- Now, choose what you want to display on your profile, such as your email, connections, followers, tags, and people you are following.
- You can even choose to always appear offline if you want.
- You can also choose to display ‘Looking for work’ so that interested recruiters can contact you.
- Lastly, click on ‘Update Preferences’ to save your settings.
