Coderons Messaging is an amazing feature that lets you connect with and have conversations with global developers. You can ask questions or doubts about your project, or talk about freelancing, and so on. One great benefit of talking to other people is that you can update your knowledge constantly.
If you want to communicate with another developer in Coderons, you first need to connect with that developer. If you’re not connected you can message whoever enabled this privacy feature ‘Allow you to send and receive messages from people who are not on your network‘ If someone disables that feature you should connect and message that user
Note:- By default that privacy feature is enabled for everyone.
If you have a problem and want to communicate with other developers, you can connect and talk with them in either of these 2 ways:
1st Way:-
1. First, log in to your account and then click on the Discover button.
2. When you click on the Discover button, you will see 3 tabs. Click on the People tag.
3. After you click on the People tag, you will see a search bar.
4. In case you already know the developer’s name, then you can search using the developers’ name. Then the results related to that name will appear.
You could also type the name of the technology/stack in which the problem occurred. Then, you will see the results related to the technology/stack. Or, you will also get the people results related to the tag where the tag name was typed.
5. Once you can see the search results, click on the profile and connect. Once the other person accepts your connection request, you can start communication.
2nd Way:-
1. Click on 'Messaging' button to go to messaging. 2. Click on 'New'.
3. In case you already know the developer’s name, then you can search using the developers’ name. Then the results related to that name will appear.
You could also type the name of the technology/stack in which the problem occurred. Then, you will see the results related to the technology/stack. Or, you will also get the people results related to the tag where the tag name was typed.
4. Once you can see the search results, click on the profile icon
5. If the person you want to message disables this privacy feature ‘Allow you to send and receive messages from people who are not on your network‘ you should connect and message them.
Note:- By default that privacy feature is enabled for everyone.
6. If that privacy feature is enabled then messaging window will open directly for you.
